Checking In

Hey folks - it's fall in New England.  I know Lisa has already acquired 3 feet of snow in the ice-imprisoned Midwest, but up here the leaves are turning.  And falling.

Things are going well for Annie and I.  Baby is a "she", and is still due Dec 21st.  Annie feels great, although having someone else make you not for clothes can be frustrating!

I see Glen all the time, he's currently getting over a cold, but none the too much worse for wear.
So how's everyone else?

Contact

Hey all!
Wow, it's been a crazy busy summer. I feel like I've barely been home since I arrived back from Chicago...which was in June!!  I barely had time for my own birthday last week...  Every day off I have I go to see Eli at the camp or go out with friends and family.  That's fantastic, but sometimes I just need a real DAY OFF...  but this weekend I'm headed to NYC to see my sister...and JPaul!  I got in touch with him so I can go see him while I'm there.  He had some interesting news...check your email from me...  Anyway, I'm trying to chill tonight, to unwind a bit, so I'll end here for now.  I still think about you all, I miss you guys...

Moving Right Along...

I know you've likely all had a busy summer.  How are things overall?

Annie and I have been well.  We're moved, and we've even had the first guest in the guest room!  A buddy of mine from High School dropped by so we could catch a Mark Knopfler concert in Boston.  Front row centre!  I was ten feet from the guy, and man was it a good show.

Anyone heard from J Paul yet?  How about Mauro?

To you...

Kirby, I might take you up on that guest room. If Andy and I ever decide to travel out to the East coast - that guest room sounds like quite the deal. =) I'm glad that everything went smoothly. I know that moving can be a lot of work. Now you have to turn  your new house into a home. I haven't had my own place yet... since going to college I have always had roommates. Currently, I live in a house with a roommate and her boyfriend. I really enjoy living with the two of them... it'll probably be that arrangement until I get my own place or Andy and I decide to move in together.

Vanessa, it sounds like you are "gathering your wits", as Andy likes to call it. That would be kinda crazy that Eli leaves as soon as you get back. I wouldn't like that. Two whole months! You know how the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder"... even though it sounds cheesy, I do believe in it. If you need to socialize and chat, feel free to call. =)

I'm glad that both of you are doing well. I have been alright... somewhat I mixed bundle of feelings and situations. I'll explain later... again, glad that you all are doing well.

Morning Ramblings

Hey there all!  Sorry I've been quiet lately, I feel like I haven't stopped moving since I set foot back in CT.  My husband, Eli, has just started his two month long stay at the summer camp that he and I met at.  I was using all my free time with him or helping him pack up.  Now I'm on my own for a while, but I have the animals to keep me company. I'm also trying to see friends and family more often to help fill my social void.  I will get to see Eli once a week or so, but I wish I could be at the camp to, however, someone needs to work to pay the rent...that's me...

That being said, it's been a little tough to keep my head straight since I got back.  You all filled me with so many deep thoughts, but it's tough not to settle back to how I was before I met you.  Maybe this blog with help.

So here's to the blog, take 2!

The Ninjas Never Die...

Great  job, Lisa!  Thanks for hosting us yet again.  I never get texts to my phone, so when I hear that ringtone, I know it's one of the ninjas - makes my day to hear it ring.

We just finished up with a move this weekend - the muscle ache will hit tomorrow.  Everything went well, and we are firmly ensconced at 77 Purchase St, Flr 2, Newburyport, MA, 01950.  We have a guest room for anyone looking to visit a MA resort town at the juncture of the Merrimac River and Atlantic Ocean.  We really mean that - Annie and I love to have guests, and our town is awesome.

So how is everyone's summer going?  I've been non-stop since our visit last week, looking forward to getting into a routine soon.  Anyone have special travel plans?
